Coins

Coins (コイン) are items used for the Crank-a-Kai or Gasha machines in the Yo-kai Watch franchise. They are typically normal consumables that may give you an item or Yo-kai. In certain cases, they are Key Items that would do something special, rather than giving you a capsule.

All Coins have their own rate for which prize tier they may pull, along with the prizes themselves having a rate in regards to which one will appear for that day, as prizes rotate daily. In Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life, due to the Crank-a-Kai and Coins giving both Yo-kai and Onryo, the names in English are different, despite some names being the same in Japanese.
